Raymond Galloway, attorney in Helena, Arkansas, passed away this morning. No details have been provided. His family is in our prayers.
Update from Judge Ben Story (8:15 a.m.):
Donald Knapp emailed me the following:
Ray was on his treadmill Sunday morning and his daughter, Leslie, heard him fall. He was transported to Helena Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from a massive heart attack. Ray has three children. Leslie and Amy live in Helena and Forrest, his son, lives in Little Rock. All of the children are adults.
Update on Funeral Arrangements:
Dear Attorneys and Judges, (11:08 a.m.)
By way of James F. Valley, this was published by Leslie Galloway, Ray’s daughter:
Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. If the weather permits and allows our family and friends to get here, the funeral is scheduled for Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. It will be a graveside only at Maple Hill
with lunch to follow at the Helena Methodist Church
. The date may change if family can not get here by then.
Dear Attorneys and Judges, (11:16 a.m.)
I have just been advised that Ray Galloway’s services will be 11:00 on Thursday rather than on Wednesday.
